CALLUM WILSON AND MICHAIL ANTONIO MAKE HARRY KANE AND CHELSEA TRANSFER CLAIM

Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson and West Ham United star Michail Antonio have spoken about the possibility of Harry Kane leaving Tottenham Hotspur and securing a transfer to Chelsea who are set to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager.

Harry Kane to Chelsea, it’s an obvious story to write, especially with Mauricio Pochettino closing in on the job that is currently being held by Frank Lampard.

Nonetheless, both Callum Wilson and Michail Antonio think it’s a ‘possibility’ that the England captain leaves Tottenham for their London rivals, as they told The Footballer’s Football PodcasIt’s already a talking point that Pochettino, after his success in the colours of Tottenham, is now deciding to take to the Stamford Bridge dugout.

So, if Kane does follow suit, then it will be interesting to see how the Spurs fans react – it has been suggested that the 29-year-old won’t be welcomed back, if he does make that move.

Nonetheless, this is what Wilson and Antonio had to say regarding Kane going to Chelsea.

“Who’s Chelsea and Tottenham’s rivals,” asked Wilson. “Are they not each other? Or is it like other teams?” To which Antonio responded. “I don’t really know who Chelsea’s rival is. Tottenham is more Arsenal.”

Wilson added: “You get what I am saying?! Pochettino. Kane out-of-contract. Maybe, ayyy. Maybe, you know.”

Antonio agreed: “That is a possibility.”KANE SHOULD JOIN A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TEAM
It’s high time Kane left Spurs because he’s winning a grand total of zero trophies at that club, especially with Daniel Levy running the ship.

But he should push aside any Chelsea interest, even if Pochettino knocks because, at this stage of his career, he needs to be playing in the Champions League.

Whether that’s in England or abroad, join that team in domestic football’s elite competition and push for trophies along with it, whilst Chelsea have provided that in the past. They are heading towards a bottom-half finish right now, so it’s not the place to be.
