It’s being widely reported that City have agreed a fee of up to £10m for the midfielder, with negotiations between city and Tottenham separate to those that saw James Maddison move to Spurs. The fee is likely to see City pay less than £10m initially, with add-ons possibly taking it up to that price.
Medical ‘scheduled’
As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a medical has been “scheduled” for the midfielder to join City. He adds that a deal for the England international is “set to be completed”.
