Kane claims league record for final day goals

Harry Kane took the Premier League record on Sunday afternoon for most goals scored in ‘final day’ games.

Hitting the target twice as we defeated Leeds United 4-1 in our last outing of the 2022/23 season, Harry upped his tally to 11 goals scored on matchday 38.

Opening the scoring on two minutes, our number 10 registered his 10th final day goal to see him rise above record holder Andrew Cole in the ranking who had nine to his name. He then struck again on 69 minutes at Elland Road for his 11th such goal.

That was one of three records Harry claimed against Leeds as he also took the record for most away goals scored in a Premier League campaign and the most different games scored in a league season.
