‘Negotiations have stalled’ – Manchester United unwilling to meet star’s ‘demands’, transfer looking difficult

Neymar is reportedly thinking about bringing his time in Paris to an end but, according to Sport’s information, his wage demands are causing issues in his search for a new club.
They explain that the footballer’s entourage have explored the option of moving to England with interest and been in touch with Manchester United, but the truth of the matter is that ‘the negotiations have stalled’ and no progress has been made in recent days.
United have done the numbers to see if they could make a deal happen and bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford but worked out, they could only meet his demands if they were to signing him on long-term contract.

That is something they, and other clubs, are unwilling to do given he is now 31 years old and his performances have not been great for several seasons.

There are also concerns about his fitness as the player has only managed one season with more than thirty games since joining PSG.

Thus, paying him what he wants is not really an option, which has seemingly led to negotiations stalling for the time being.
