Football.London have revealed that Son Heung-min makes an unexpected appearance in the latest Spiderman movie, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’.
The movie, which is a sequel to the Oscar-winning ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, opens in cinemas across the UK next week on June 2.
Various trailers of the movie have come out over recent weeks, including a Spanish one, in which the opening scene features a poster of Heung-min Son in a Spurs shirt on the wall of the main character Miles Morales’ bedroom.
Football.London state that this is not the first time Son has appeared in the world of Marvel as the Tottenham star also made an appearance on the MCU movie Black Widow, released in 2021.In that film, when the character played by Scarlett Johansson enters a shop, the TV screen features Son’s South Korea playing against Paraguay.
In addition, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, who is a Tottenham supporter, met with Son last year, with the duo interviewing each other for the club’s official channel.

This once again shows how big Son is in the world game, with his popularity in Asia (and South Korea in particular) making him one of the most marketable athletes in the world.
