Tottenham are ready to offload midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 27, amid interest from Atletico Madrid.

The Denmark international has two years left on his contract, but is unsure about committing to a new deal to extend his stay in north London.

Spurs completed one of their priority signings of the window with the £45million acquisition of James Maddison from relegated Leicester on Wednesday, and the Foxes star could yet be joined by his team-mate Harvey Barnes, who has also caught the eye of new manager Ange Postecoglou.
