Sam Allardyce’s side know they must beat Spurs at Elland Road on Sunday to stand any chance of Premier League survival
Tottenham will be without Eric Dier for their final match of the season at Leeds United after the defender underwent groin surgery this week. Centre-back Dier has not started Spurs’ last three fixtures, having virtually been an ever-present during a difficult campaign for the club.
During that time, Spurs kept one clean sheet, against Crystal Palace, but conceded twice to Aston Villa and three times to Brentford last weekend. It’s a huge game for the hosts, of course, with Leeds needing to win to give themselves any chance of staying in the Premier League.Sam Allardyce’s side must win at Elland Road and hope Leicester City fail to beat West Ham United and Everton slip up at home to Bournemouth, in what is sure to be a tense final day.
